Confidence Is Key

Confidence is key,
a sentence that inspires me.
But how am I getting through life,
without that sole key?
I don't possess it,
nor does it possess me.
It's missing.
What did I miss out on in life,
that made me lack this confidence.
That made me lack the ability,
to
   just
     be
       me.
Confidence is key,
where could all my confidence be?
Surely I was blessed with some,
but now,
it's gone.
